Families Make Futures

Parents and cares with learning diffcutlies/disabilities and those with someone with a learning disability in the family can recive support whilst living in supported living services, on their own or with families.

Person centred inforamtion advice and guidance helps them to overcome big issues such as hate crime, housing issues, debt problems, benefit issues, keeping conact with their children, finding employment, helath related issues, short breaks for siblings and families.

Training for parents with learning diffuclites/diabilites

The Course

Strengthining Families, Strengthening Communities is a 12 weeks programme that offers accessible specialist training especially for parents with learning difficulties/disabilities that develops their parenting skills and increases possibilities of keeping their families together.

This is an intensive service that provides impartial support to the family with issues that may require mediation between parents and children. Common Assessment Framework process is often required to ensure the best outcomes are recived by everyone.

Paying for the programme
