Take Heart Project

We believe that young people need to be given the right information about relationships to ensure that they understand, have a right to healthy relationships and can keep themselves and other people safe from harm.

Young people will learn how to make informed choices; communicate their feelings and communicate with others; learn how to treat others and how to keep themselves safe. They can access more information about where to go for help and who to talk to. Sarah is available to support young people with any issues or things they need to talk about after the sessions.

Our sessions focus on self esteem, confidence and empowering young people to make choices that are safe for them and for other people.

The project is delivered by a qualified sex education professional with support from People in Action staff and volunteers. The session materials are easy-read and picture based.
