Count me in
Since 2005 we have developed a specialist service which can be tailored to individuals requirements to receive support in all aspects of their lives. This can be from a few hours a week to a full weeks programme of one to one or more intense support to individuals who want to have more control over their support.
We provide support to individuals and parents to access their support entitlements, we recruit, employ, staff that can be matched with individuals and their needs. The service offers personalised services for people to choose how they spend their day.
Count Me In staff support clients within the home, going shopping, following an interest, travelling outside local areas, using public transport, going to leisure centres, attending college and fulfilling other choices.

Hameet’s Experience of Count Me In Support
Hameet, who is 21 years, has a learning difficulty. He accesses direct payments to help him with the transitions to adult life. Hameet helped with recruiting his Personal Assistant, who works with him 10 hours a week. She supports him to achieve his aspirations and develop his life skills, e.g. travel training.
One positive outcome for Hameet is that his Personal Assistant has reserved and sourced an opportunity for Hameet to be involved with Yorkshire County Cricket Club in accessing UKCC Level 1 Cricket Coaching Course. This has increased his confidence.
Hameet helps to organise and coach at the disability tennis sessions at John Charles Center for Sport.
Hameet says:
“My ambition is to get into sports coaching, possibly at a gym. I am enjoying volunteering and would recommend it. I would like to become the manager of Leeds United one day!”
